Client Pays, tighter Reliance controls and a clearer dashboard New Improved
Client Pays: your customer pays for their check
You can now have your customer pay for their own verification by card. Tick Client pays when creating a check and the customer is emailed a secure payment link first; once they've paid, they go straight into their verification. Checks your customers pay for aren't charged to you, and still appear on your monthly invoice at $0.00 marked "Pre-paid by client" so your records stay complete.
- Customers pay $20 for an individual check and $40 for a business check. No GST is charged, and their payment page links to our Refund Policy.
- Choose check by check, or have it ticked by default for your agency.
- If your agency sends onboarding and the AML check separately, onboarding is free for the customer. The payment link goes out with the AML check once you've reviewed their onboarding.
- Resend or copy the payment link, and see "Awaiting payment" and "Client paid" on the dashboard.
- Customers who haven't paid get an automatic reminder after 24 hours.
- Payment links last 7 days from the last send. If one lapses you're emailed, and can send a new link in one click.
- If a customer won't pay online, Waive (agency pays) sits right next to the payment link button and unlocks their verification straight away.
Client Pays is optional and switched off by default. Contact us to have it turned on for your agency.
Reliance
- Email code on every visit: partner links now need a one-time code sent to the invited contact's own email before anything opens, so a forwarded link is no use to anyone else.
- Executed Reliance Agreement required: upload the signed agreement for each relationship, with a review date. Sharing and relying on received documents are blocked until it's on file, and your admins are reminded before each review is due.
- Expiry and download windows: partner links last 90 days (extendable) and each shared package can be downloaded for 30 days (reopenable). Downloaded PDFs are marked with who downloaded them and when.
- Reliance register: export everything shared, received and accessed on a relationship as a CSV for your records. Shared package files are deleted 60 days after their window closes; the record of what was shared is kept.
- Clearer responsibilities: the acknowledgement your partner accepts before downloading now covers the Reliance Agreement, their own due diligence and Privacy Act obligations. The same reminder appears in your Reliance page, not just in emails.
Dashboard summary: see who needs to act next
The summary cards at the top of your dashboard now sort every check by who has the next step, so you can see at a glance what's waiting on you.
- Completed: onboarding, the AML check and the CDD form are all done.
- Waiting on Customer: the customer still has a step to finish, including paying for a Client Pays check.
- Under Review by Four Foxes: we're reviewing the check, or building the ownership map and individual checks for a business.
- Agent Action Required: the customer is done and it's over to you, for example reviewing onboarding, acknowledging a report or completing the CDD form.
- Expired: the customer's link or payment link has lapsed and can be resent.
